Fascinating site. I am gradually building a nice collection of old planes, but onty ones I can use ( I have an arts and crafts inspired 1905 house which needs lots of woodwork restoration). I have very nice record 405 combination plane, which I use a lot, but sadly one of the spur screws has gone missing and I just cannot find a replacement ( very rare thread 40 tpi ME) . Should you either acquire any old 405s for parts, or know of any source, I would be really grateful and keen to purchase.
